Google Earth
Google Earth is an important tool in 7th grade social studies. Since the class focuses on geography, Google Earth is essential in analyzing different locations we are studying. We use Google Earth in almost every class along with our Daily Overview photos.

Using geo coordinates, students create interactive world tours that focus on interesting locations featured on the Daily Overview website. The project allows us to combine satellite imagery, street view photos, and input research and metadata about each location.
