Guest Speakers and Community Connections

Our curriculum is brought to life with real-world connections when we are able to bring in guest speakers and experts in the areas we are studying. Over the past several years I have been able to bring in some amazing speakers to talk about things such as satellite imagery, GIS mapping, the refugee experience, shadow puppetry, and lots more. Within our distance learning framework I hope to expand on this with video conferencing and our own community’s expertise.
