1. a fire-breathing she-monster in Greek mythology having a lion's head, a goat's body, and a serpent's tail
2: an imaginary monster compounded of incongruous parts
Chimeras are everywhere!
Throughout history people from around the world have created myths based on fictional animal hybrids. In this project we will explore and learn about their history and significance. Studying the chimeras from different cultures allows us to learn about and gain insight about different people around the world and their cultural traditions. Check out the video below!
